Job Description:

The Special Procedures RN facilitates and coordinates the nursing services provided in the Radiology department to maintain optimal patient care and outcomes. He/she assists with various radiology procedures and heart catheterizations. The Special Procedure RN reports to the Special Procedure Coordinator and the Director of Radiology.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

 Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states

  • BLS certification maintained.
  • ACLS certification Preferred
  • PALS certification Preferred 

 Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program

Minimum Work Experience:

  • Two years experience as a professional nurse in an acute care setting preferred.

    Critical Care or Emergency Department experience preferred.

    Competent in ECG interpretation.
