Murray Calloway County Hospital seeks a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join West Kentucky Gastroenterology! This is a full-time opportunity, and the hours fall between Monday and Friday between 7:30 am and 5 pm (or later if day runs over). This position comes with excellent medical benefits.

Job Description:

This LPN or CMA works under the direction of a Medical Provider. He/she participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of the medical provider's preparation. He/ she cooperates with the members of the nursing, clinic staff, medical staff, and other hospital departments.  

This person must be professional, have a strong work ethic, work well with others, and have compassion for our patients at all times.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states if you are an LPN; or 
  • Certified as a Medical Assistant
  • CPR certification required (if you do not have a current certification, we can help you get that within your first 90 days of employment)

Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN college program or CMA Certification program

Minimum Work Experience:

  • Prior experience in clinical office necessary.
