The Director of Physician Surgical Practices is responsbile for all aspects of managing, recruiting and expanding the physician services network.  Secondly, the Director is responsible for managing the respective team members of the clinics and billing office staff.  Third the Director is responsible for working with the hospital Revenue Cycle Director regarding mananaged care contracting with healthcare payers of physician services providers into the the respective networks.  The position researches sources, ensures all credentialing/re-credentialing is conducted, maintains valid business licenses and certifications and ensures all Fedeeral, State and Medical guidelines are ahdered to at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Education:  Bachelor's deegree required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum Work Experience:  Must have at least ten years experience in the direct management of surgical services.
  • BLS required

Strong knowledge of business development and strategic planning.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to upper managements' directions accurately.

Uses good judgement and includes the appropriate people in the decision-making process.

Must be knowledgeable in multiple software programs, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.

Ability to collect and research data to analyze complex or diverse information.

Uses intuition and experience to design work flow procedures and process solutions.

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Demonstrates the ability to develop alternative and effective solutions.
